About Môr Glas and Môr Gwyrdd
Partnership
Môr Glas and Môr Gwyrdd are being developed by a partnership of Hiraeth Energy and Magnora Offshore Wind. Together we play an active role in the development community.
Hiraeth Energy
Hiraeth Energy is a Welsh renewable energy developer aiming to change the future of energy in Wales.
Established to develop utility-scale renewable energy projects, all our work is underpinned by ethical and sustainable business practices. We aim to maximise benefits for the people, communities and environment in Wales by working in partnership; this enables:
- Maximising the return to Wales
- Building local, ethical supply chains
- Empowering communities with consultation, decision-making and ownership
- Supporting the most vulnerable with our targeted approach to community benefits
Our projects are delivered using the framework of the Well-being of Future Generations Act, reducing development risk and building real partnerships with local communities, and local and national governments.
Magnora Offshore Wind
Magnora Offshore Wind is a renewable energy developer consisting of the strengths of Magnora and TechnipFMC. By combining Magnora’s renewable project development experience with TechnipFMC’s extensive experience from executing integrated large offshore, floating, and subsea projects and industry leading technologies, the cooperation is positioning to take an active part in the renewables shift.
Magnora Offshore Wind has been successful in its bid for a license in the Scotwind leasing round and is now developing the 495MW floating offshore wind project ‘Talisk’ in Scotland.
